Yeah, I heard about this on the drive up to the doctor’s this afternoon. I hope no one close to you was one of the victims, but if so, feel free to talk.
Home’s not an easy place to be atm – there are still national news vans all over downtown. The general mood is kind of… just… Dejected? I don’t think any of us genuinely believe that this happened here quite yet.

I’m sorry — it’s easy to become desensitized to violence, especially when it seems like the deaths outnumber the positive events, but things like this are especially horrifying.
